Considerations for ICD 10 Conversion

The International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems 10th Revision (ICD 10) is a coding mechanism for diseases and other health conditions. The medical code set includes more than 14,400 different codes and allows for more tracking capability than the previous code set (ICD 9). It's no longer a matter of if or when but how to approach ICD 10 conversion.
